Why Certifications Matter

When a school is ICBC-certified, it means the instructors have been properly trained, licensed, and vetted. The vehicles used for training have passed an annual commercial safety inspection, are equipped to the required standard, and are covered under the correct driver training insurance. Certification confirms that the school complies with provincial regulations and adheres to professional standards. If a school isn’t certified, there’s no guarantee that you’re protected if something goes wrong, and no assurance that the training is safe, legal, or up to industry expectations. Certification matters because learning to drive is serious, and the people teaching it should be, too.
